Sell digital products in the physical world, from conversations to conferences, coffeehouses to co-working spaces.
Online, marketing is hard, but one part is easy: dropping a link to your product at the end of a tweet thread or blog post. In the physical world, there aren't links. Product cards are a way to give people a tangible link to your product so that they remember to buy it.
Product cards are as versatile as your imagination requires. Hand them out at conferences and meet-ups, leave a stack at your favorite coffeehouse or co-working space, keep a few in your pocket just in case. Instead of trying to pull it up on your phone or rely on their memory, give your prospective customer something that they can walk away from the conversation with to remember your product.
Product cards' clean design and eye-catching, dynamic QR code makes the cards' purpose immediately apparent and helps them stand out on a crowded corkboard or tabletop. Branding cues like the logo and color of the platform you're selling on help increase customer trust, while prominently featuring your product's name and design keeps the card all about you and your business.
At as little as six cents per card, the return on investment is phenomenal: many creators can make a profit on their purchase from a single sale. Plus, product cards make a great gift for the creator in your life who has everything.
Hi 👋 I'm Philip Kiely and I built Print Cardinal to make great paper marketing materials for creators.
In 2016, as a freshman in college, I brought a stack of 500 friendship cards to new student orientation. Handing out these cards helped me make connections that led to lifelong friendships. Now, I'm helping creators create product cards to reach audiences through new channels and boost their sales.
When you place an order with Print Cardinal, you're supporting three independent businesses: yours, mine, and Total Choice, a locally-owned print shop in the small town of Grinnell, Iowa. Its owners, Cory and Alicia Blankenfeld, have operated the company since 2004, providing high-quality paper products and creating great jobs in their local economy. As a 2020 graduate of Grinnell College, I partnered with Total Choice because they offer outstanding products and are a pillar of the local business community.
The price you see is the price you pay. Packing, shipping, and sales tax (in applicable states) are free. Well, they're not really free, I made a spreadsheet and figured out how to include them in the price so that I can offer a square deal with no up-charges.
Right now, Print Cardinal products are exclusively available within the 48 contiguous United States. One day when the business is bigger this will change.
First I process your order and bundle it with others and send it to Total Choice. Then your order gets printed, packed, and shipped. You should have your cards within 10 business days. If you don't have them within 15 business days let me know.
All sales are final once cards are printed. In case there is an issue with your design, you'll have a chance to change or cancel your order before it is printed.
So eventually this is going to be a slick and automated process but right now I just email you a file and unless you reject it within 24 hours, I print it.
Absolutely not. Print Cardinal products are all about you. There is no Print Cardinal branding anywhere on the card and the QR code redirects through qr-code-link.com, a neutral domain that I operate.
It depends on how much money you want to spend. If you want a design for a product card for a popular platform that I don't support yet, let me know and I can add the platform for no additional fee. If you want something totally custom, I'll give you a quote.
Your cards will still work. Every product card uses dynamic QR codes from another one of my businesses, QR Code Squirrel. One day it will be self-service, but for now that means that if you want your QR code link changed without re-printing cards, just send me an email and I'll fix it up for you.
Email me! I want Print Cardinal to be a great fit for your creator business and am happy to answer any questions you have.
